  4. I think we need another set of steps like the ones we have so that actors can get on stage on both sides of the house. Michael Johnson expressed an interest in making them.

  17. Ok well if anyone needs it I've got the set design for Romeo and juliet. No we yacht decided on colors yet but we,re thinking some darker reds and there's gonna be a lot of metal on set. Costume committee choose whatever colors u and the actors want the set is easily adaptable and shouldnt conflict just
No dark reds. Or red in generral if possible

  20. What is a bejeweled pimp stick going to be used for? What was the purpose of building it? Is it for one of the characters?

  21. Brittany-
I think the pimp cane was made for Imaginary Invalid for Dr. Purgon. Isaac Boyd was using it yesterday on stage.

    1. Alright since we have to post after every class here we go; Spent most of today looking around the scene shop for parts to make trees for the set. In case if anyone hasn't heard, welded trees are not going to happen. So my plan is to use a modified form of paper mache out of chicken wire and a couple 2x2's. The modified part is instead of paper I plan on using fabric.

  24. Jamie and I were wondering about private scenes and what the set is going to be like for those or if there we just going to still be in the speakeasy. By private, I mean Juliet's bedroom... We wanted to start blocking but need to know an idea of what the set will be like. Thanks techies! You all rock my socks!!

    1. private scene's like in Juliet's bedroom or balcony when it's Juliet kind of hiding out will be (hopefully if we can get what we need and make it work) on scaffolding platforms on the side of the "stage" so she's still in the club, but hiding from the crowds and her parents. Other private scene's will take place at a booth or something along those lines, separated out more by lighting.
